Poverty in my eyes

As I sit by the pool in sunny Mexico, I'm grateful for my beginnings and those of my friends and family. Poverty is huge in Mexico, and something that will take years to overturn, not that I think it will.
From young girls selling hand-made bracelets with their mothers, to teenage boys weaving hats out of grass, I stand here and watch in awe the strength they each posses.
You may think I haven't seen the worst of a third world country, but I can say I've seen enough. From the white sand in Thailand, to the black sand in Bali, and now Puerto Escondido in Mexico, I feel grateful for my beginnings...
