Your little Canadian trinket

I just came across this amazing Canadian television program called Sarah's House, and I loved it so much, that I just watched back-to-back episodes for three hours.

Whether you want to add accent to your home, create an illusion or just add character, Sarah is your girl. She buys old run-down homes, and creates masterpieces from them. What I love about Sarah, is that she caters to everyone's taste. Whether you like old-charm country, an antique affair or a shabby chic creation, your inspiration will be taken into account.

Take inspiration from some of the homes Sarah has created, and turn your own worldly charm into something of a designers treasures.

The main feature in the kitchen above is the french provincial bench top. Recreate this look at home with this Harrington Kitchen below

The best piece in the room above is the fabric covered armchair. Adding colour to a room can be as easy as adding one piece of furniture. Begin your inspiration with the Ikea chair below

An easy modern touch that is gracing the walls of many homes, is wallpaper. This room was created with only the wallpaper as inspiration. Thanks to Domayne, you can achieve this look at home too.

To add to a room, and bring in a homely feel, it's best to stick to bold colours and wooden furniture. This piece above is priceless, but you can achieve a similar look at home using this Freedom buffet below.

A four poster bed will never date. Although its not a dark wood, you can recreate this bedroom at your place with this Ikea bed frame.
